The Woodnotes carpet collection contains 64 designs created out of the harmonious combinations of 10 patterns and 10 colour alternatives. The main colours in the collection are natural and black, the materials paper yarn (86 %) and cotton (14 %). Paper yarn does not gather dust or dirt, an important feature particularly for those allergic to dust. Woodnotes carpets tolerate well humid conditions and, due to the tight weave, they do not ignite easily. Woodnotes carpets are supplied with soil-repellent treatment, which makes it easy to care for them. Woodnotes domestic carpets are designed for normal home use and they come in six regular sizes: 90 x 200 cm, 120 x 200 cm, 140 x 200 cm, 160 x 230 cm, 200 x 300 cm and 250 x 350 cm. The widths are fixed, but lengths other than those listed can be supplied to order. Carpets with edging are designed primarily for domestic use and they are supplied to order also in special sizes in addition to the standard ones. The max. width is 330 cm and the max. length 10 m. Thanks to edging and double-sided soil-repellent treatment, carpets with edging are reversable. Contract carpets are primarily designed for demanding use, such as for public premises and offices. Woodnotes contract carpets are supplied with backing, edging and soil-repellent treatment. Backing gives strength and body to the carpet and prevents the carpet from sliding. Woodnotes contract carpets are supplied to order upto the max. width of 330 cm and the max. length of 10 m. Special designs can be created by combining different patterns and colours according to the customers specifications and they are available in all carpet qualities, i.e. as domestic carpets, carpets with edging and contract carpets (all patterns except for Living and Field). Woodnotes carpets have been awarded several international recognitions, such as good Design Award 2003 (Japan), Interior Innovation Award 2003 (Germany), red dot award 2004 (Germany) and design&decoration award 2004 (The UK). Woodnotes carpets also feature in the Design and Architecture Collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
