Soft shapes and comfort for outdoor spaces: Commissioned by S-CAB, Alessandro Stabile has designed the “Brezza” upholstered armchair – a sustainably conceived hybrid that is equally pleasing indoors, too.
Another first for S-CAB, this time with Alessandro Stabile, a rising star on the Made in Italy industrial design landscape who was already nominated for the Compasso d'Oro in 2022. The Brezza armchair is his innovative take on outdoor comfort, where the frame and cushions engage in surprising dialogue: the upholstered parts are easy to fit into the frame and secure. The generous upholstery leaves the round metal legs exposed, lending strength and recognisability to the armchair.
The seat is thus incredibly practical: a simple gesture is all it takes to remove the upholstery and wash or replace it, to the advantage of long-term durability. Brezza exudes sturdiness and resistance, as well as natural, unpretentious grace.
The seat's metal frame is available in the colours: linen, dove grey, anthracite, olive green, mocha and terracotta.
A variety of materials are available, including recycled ecological fabrics, which are ecological fibres derived from recycled waste, then reprocessed and transformed into new products.
