With the THEA collection, Adam D. Tihany joins the world of RODA. Universally regarded as the preeminent designer in the hospitality sector, Adam D. Tihany has created innovative interiors for hotels and restaurants in some of themost iconic establishments the world over. He was one of the first designers to collaborate with internationally renowned chefs to create signature restaurant interiors and has recently become a leading name in the cruise industry.

For RODA, Tihany has created a collection for the hospitality sector consisting of a two-seater sofa, an armchair, and coffee tables with round tops, in two sizes. The collection takes its name from the South American Calathea plant, whose distinctive striped leaves inspired the shape and design of Thea’s cocoon-like aluminium frame.

The entire THEA collection uses RODA’s traditional finishes and materials. The aluminium structure of the sofa and the armchair can be had in the typical smoke and rust painted finishes, and the comfortable cushions are available with water-draining paddingmaterials. The table tops in porcelain stoneware can be freely personalised by choosing a colour from among the rich range of matte and glossy variants offered by RODA.
