PIPER sofa

PIPER is the fusion of forms, colors and finishes, the result of an evolution in materials research that has introduced aluminum in RODA proposal.

After having developed and long experimented some main product families, TEAK, METALS and UPHOLSTERY, RODA decided to take a new challenge introducing another one, ALUMINUM, which is one of the most used material in the outdoor segment, due to its lightness and durability.

The flair and elegance of Rodolfo Dordoni have turned tubular forms and curved aluminum from which the collection takes its name, to create a complex system not only in form but also in combinations of materials and colors.

The multifunctional pipe, employed for the structures of all the products in the collection, is marked by sinuous lines on the outer, and at the same time its technical features accommodates different structural elements such as belts and technical fabric, in combinations of materials which are consistent to RODA. Exclusively for the PIPER collection Roda opted for a new colour for the structures, RUST.  

The PIPER sofas bring new chromatic shades into the RODA range, as well as unusual combinations.

The same sofa base structure of PIPER can accommodate two different types of backs:
- a lower back, wearing a technical fabric;
- higher back, woven belts.

Different height backs offer the opportunity of creating new, unusual combinations, where the chromatic shades are the «trait d’union», within the same harmony of colours and shapes, which is distinctive to RODA.

Four colours for belts and fabrics are offered for combining the rust finish of the structure: Blue, orange, brown and sand.
