Perforated sun screens with an eye-catching feature
A former factory building has been converted to house the State Archive of Brandenburg. Over 250 m2 of perforated aluminium panels from RMIG have been used to create automatic sun screens that have been installed in front of the glass facade of the building. The sun screens provide a correct balance of light and shade, thereby ensuring a comfortable indoor atmosphere for those using the reading rooms in the archives.
Using a digital printing process, an extra eye-catching feature has been added to the sun screens with the word “ARCHIVE” printed on the perforated sheets, thus communicating the purpose of the building to those passing by.
