New texture: luce silver
Augsburg’s new office campus in TONI Park offers employees a unique feel-good concept. In addition to the existing buildings, this park-like area with relaxation areas under shady trees will feature six new high-quality office complexes and a multi-storey car park. In addition to retail, office, laboratory and technical space, there is also room for training rooms and logistics areas. There are childcare facilities, gyms, cafés and restaurants nearby, which help make employees’ working hours as comfortable as possible.
In the planning the new buildings, the architects were also guided by the idea of sustainability. They are revitalising urban brownfield land and are applying the latest energy standards and future-proof building concepts. In keeping with the ecological concept, the first office building was clad with concrete skin panels in liquid black and sahara. In addition to the light-dark contrast, the facade also delivers another highlight with the luce silver texture: The addition of mica gives the facade a glittering, shimmering appearance. Depending on how the sunlight falls, the particles reflect in different ways and create unique effects.
