Similar to a sitting ball, yet much more comfortable, Seesaw promotes active sitting. There is no backrest embracing you like a corset and forcing you to sit in a passive way. Instead, this chair invites you to move. Thanks to new colours and materials and to a gas-damped spring for height adjustment, Richard Lampert will offer Seesaw in a new look and with improved comfort. Rock on: used as an office chair or at conferences and meetings, Seesaw provides a place to develop ideas – and to do this while engaging in a gentle rocking motion enabled by an additional curve of the bentwood material. Similar to a cantilever chair, when sitting on Seesaw, the user remains active and is encouraged to move more often, to stretch and to stand up every now and again.
All muscles, especially those supporting the spine, are given a gentle workout and remain well supplied with blood.
New: the chair has become even more comfortable thanks to a new design fitted with a gas-damped spring, which is offered alongside the original spindle-equipped version. New materials, new colours: the seat of Seesaw was previously available in untreated beech, in beech with a white melamine finish, in upholstered beech, in beech with felt and in black ash and ash with felt, and the frame and rollers were available in a chrome-plated finish. Now, the Seesaw office chair is also available with a monochrome frame in black, white or bronze and with a new seat in light oak (with or without upholstery).
