Product description
A wall lined with Corian® tiles, extending three-dimensionally outwards, uses the same material to create the whole bathroom system: bathtubs, washbasins, shelves and shower trays that literally “spring out” of the wall. The Warp project is a perfect expression of the language used by Carlo Dal Bianco: it blends the contemporary with the past. The project originates from the classical two-dimensional development of a modular system of tiling using DuPont™ Corian®, an extremely flexible and workable material. The wall takes shape, combining a composition of large and small elements, and superimposing a dedicated system of elements: mirrors, receptacles, bathtubs, washbasins, shelves and shower trays with various accessories. These three-dimensional elements “spring out” of the wall, warping themselves to emphasize the possibilities and characteristics of this noble material. The distorted effect that gives the project a contemporary feel, is contrasted by the reassuringly classical and iconographic language of the diamonded tiles, reminiscent of the past.
