Notice boards are typically wide, flat surfaces where posters and announcements are attached laterally. Inspired to create an alternative design, Broberg & Ridderstråle reinvented the notice board as an architectural element. Crafted in the shape of a column, this notice board is easy to see, and offers a bigger surface area than traditional display boards. Integrated lighting at the top illuminates the signs, notices and advertisements pinned beneath it. The column’s height and distinctive shape draws attention to the notices attached to it, and could provide a meeting point in public areas.
