Nice is one of the pioneering companies in the home and building automation sector to obtain the Apple HomeKit certification: with the IT4WIFI smart interface for garage doors, Nice integrates with the Apple HomeKit world. Connecting to the domestic hub by wi-fi and communicating with the HomeKit technology, Nice allows access to the garage to be controlled directly from an iPhone or Apple Watch, either locally or remotely, even when far from home. Apple's Home app can be used to manage all connected HomeKit devices and create personalised scenarios such as "return home" to open the garage door and turn on the lights from Apple devices with a simple touch. With Siri, the garage door can be opened and closed by voice commands, while by activating the iPhone's GPS, geolocalisation allows the garage door to be opened automatically and safely as you approach, reducing waiting times.
