Despite the difficult political, economic, and social circumstances prevailing in Beirut the city boasts a strong design scene in which women are gaining ground. We met five women designers in Beirut and Dubai.

"Hospital" architecture stands for economic, functional buildings that nobody would like to stay in longer than is absolutely necessary.
