Breaking into Bavaria
Promenadeplatz in Munich has always been a very prestigious address: Once upon a time it was home to members of the nobility, and today the striking Baroque architecture houses truly high-end showrooms. The ground floor of the building at no. 11 is now set to showcase the premium technological products from Swiss manufacturer V-Zug: from the “RefreshButler”, which gently dries clothes and freshens them up using steam or rids them of germs and bacteria in its hygiene cycle, to the “FullFlex hob”, on which you can position pots and pans just as you wish, and the “CombiCooler V4000”. The latter uses climate control to ensure that bothersome condensation on cool surfaces finally becomes a thing of the past. The steam technology the company uses is also ahead of the game: The “Combi-Steamers” and “Combi-air Series” can be set to be ready at the very minute of serving. For this, the ingredients are vacuum-sealed so they can subsequently be steamed at low temperatures.
Across premises of no less than 300 square meters, visitors can experience not only the functionality of these high-quality household appliances, but also the precise craftsmanship with which the products are manufactured. A family-run company, V-Zug is known for its level of perfection right down to the details and has roots in Switzerland dating back to 1913. Alongside its flagship showrooms in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Melbourne, the company’s “Zugorama” in Munich is set to further emphasize its international orientation.
