Gleaming relaxation
Following hotels in Frankfurt/Main and Munich, Roomers recently presented an establishment in Baden-Baden. In a central location opposite the Festspielhaus, architecture studio KHP Architekten has created a luxurious place of retreat with a spa area measuring 500 square meters in total, for which it recently received the German Design Award 2018 in the category Interior Architecture. Guests can expect to find 130 comfortable rooms and suites in a purist style.
Fittings by Vola were installed in the spacious bathrooms, including the wall fitting Vola 121 in high-gloss chrome and the shower mixer Vola 2471 that can be switched between hand shower and overhead shower. The classic design by Arne Jacobsen continues to shine in the form of the freestanding bath fitting with hand shower Vola FS1. The 108-cm-high stainless-steel fitting designed both for filling the tub and as a shower mixer is a feature of the centrally positioned tubs, which highlight the open transition between the spaces. In the spa area the Vola 070W Kneipp hose is available for health-promoting cold-water affusions. Boasting symmetrical positioning of the two ends, when wall-mounted the hose is both aesthetically pleasing and saves space. (am)
