Form and process
Excellent design combined with first-class quality has always been Vola's mission. Verner Overgaard thus set new standards for bathroom and kitchen design with his idea of having the mixer and inlet pipes of a fitting run inside the wall. Designed by Arne Jacobsen, the faucets have a characteristically elegant shape. The fact that the fittings, which were first introduced in 1968, are still in demand today is also due to the consistently excellent quality of the products, which are all manufactured in Vola's own factory in the Danish port city of Horsens. "Vola has remained true to its basic principles of creating excellent design combined with first-class quality for decades," says Birthe Tofting, Sales and Marketing Director at Vola. Crucial to the continued success of the design classics and new designs is Vola's dedicated team, which reliably translates the company's high standards into manufacturing. "Only a masterfully manufactured product is good enough for a Vola customer," says Birthe Tofting. (am)
