Be it on the road or in our own homes the bathroom is the place where we want to relax and really feel good. If we are to experience a true sense of wellbeing in the bathroom it not only comes down to the overall impression, practicality and atmosphere; it is also precisely the minor details that can ultimately make all the difference. Villeroy & Boch has a good appreciation for the fine details in bathroom design and is now offering new faucet collections that are a perfect match for its own bathroom ceramics. For architects, interior designers, and planners the new ranges (they’re fittingly called “Top Together”) afford greater freedom both technically and creatively in planning a harmonious overall appearance down to the smallest details. Numerous styles can be realized with the help of the “Top Together” ensemble; from classic elegance via streamlined purism through to modern elements a great many variants are possible. What’s more, a choice of four different finishes is available, namely Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gold and Matt Black. And Villeroy & Boch has also spared a thought for plumbers — apart from being of an uncompromising quality all the faucets are easy to install. “Subway 3.0” and “Antao” are just two examples of Villeroy & Boch’s extraordinary complete bathroom collections.

Subway 3.0

“Subway 3.0” is the Villeroy & Boch series that people of all generations will love; after all, it caters to every conceivable scenario of everyday family life: Alongside bathroom furniture that offers ample storage space for all those personal belongings there’s an ergonomically shaped bathtub as well as a very deep washbasin. And to ensure that the next generation will also feel good in this bathroom “Subway 3.0” boasts a design that is attractive, yet with a timeless quality that will outlive trends and scores extra points thanks to the durable materials and smart functions.

Sophisticated technical features include an AdjustablePlus flow regulator for the individual orientation of the water flow and AirPlus aerator for a strong flow combined with a sparing use of water. And on the topic of sparing: the AquaSmart function limits the flow of water at the washbasin to 5 l/min at three bars. What’s more, the taps of the Subway 3.0 series come in different heights for surface-mounted washbasins in the guise of ComfortPlus. Finally, the EasyClean finish simplifies both cleaning and the removal of limescale.

Antao

Antao

With its signature gentle asymmetric curves, the “Antao” collection is intended to remind its users of a relaxing stroll through a forest. Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider alias Kaschkasch took their inspiration for this holistic design from dewdrops thereby creating a connection with nature in the bathroom. Highlights of the “Antao” complete bathroom collection (other than the fittings inspired by water as an element) include a washbasin with a satin touch and an ergonomically shaped bathtub. The special lever position of the fitting’s body underscores the collection’s unusual yet natural character. There is a choice of three different finishes, namely Brushed Nickel, Matt Black or shining Chrome. Like the faucets from “Subway 3.0” the taps of “Antao” also impress with features such as the AdjustablePlus flow regulator, the AirPlus aerator and with AquaSmart, SmartPressure and various faucet heights as well as ComfortPlus. The fact that Villeroy & Boch now supplies matching fittings for every washbasin not only makes life easier for architects and planners but also ensures users have a bathroom with a well thought-through design.
