TON 2020: AGAIN
Furniture manufacturer TON is currently presenting its new "Again" collection.
"Again" was conceived by the Italian designer Alexander Gufler and celebrates a craft that lives in TON's DNA: wood bending. Bentwood forms a generous semi-circle to the backrest of the chair and bar stool. The curved shape is contrasted by a straight central piece that runs vertical to the plywood seat.
Gufler thus picks up on a formal language that is otherwise preferred in the design of metal chairs in the industrial style. His creation is certainly more comfortable, as the seat and backrest can be upholstered if required. For the bar stool, there is also a choice of two heights. The colour scheme of "Again" ranges from natural wood and nude to dark mint, violet blue and anthracite, all with a glossy finish. (am)
