The artists and interior architects at New York’s “Snarkitecture” have built a huge marble run in Seoul.
New York’s “Snarkitecture” collective have, with the support fashion label “Cos” realized an interactive installation at the Gana Art Center in Seoul, South Korea. “Loop” consists of a seemingly endless, room-filling marble run, whereby the white balls roll along a white double-tube structure made to the utmost precision. With this piece, Snarkitecture are returning to a concept they first presented in 2014 at the Art Basel Miami Beach with their “Marble Run” installation. In Seoul, however, the seemingly endless runs and long distances covered by the marbles gives rise to a completely different overall feel, which emphasized the meditative element of the marble run.
