SCHÖNBUCH

The colour purple plays a leading role this year in Schönbuch's Milan showroom and ideally sets the scene for the new designs by Sebastian Herkner, Bao-Nghi Droste, Saskia Diez, Christian Haas, Leandra Eibl and f/p design, among others.

Colour is part of the identity of the furniture manufacturer Schönbuch and therefore one can also eagerly await this year's staging for the Milan Furniture Fair: creative director Carolin Sangha immerses the walls and floor of the Schönbuch Temporary Showroom in Via Brera in the colour of the flowering Wisteria. The light purple was specially developed for Schönbuch by the English paint manufacturer Little Greene and provides an extravagant canvas for all the other shades in the Schönbuch palette. "Purple stands for inspiration, change and strength," says Sangha. In this mystical and elegant atmosphere, Schönbuch is presenting a whole range of new products, such as the "Kaidan" lowboards and sideboards by Bao-Nghi Droste, the multifunctional "TUB" furniture by Sebastian Herkner and the "BOW" coat racks by f/p design. Leandra Eibl works with coloured, flexible glass surfaces. Her "Cores" shelf, which is available in various designs, can also serve as a room divider and leaves plenty of scope for individual colour collages, as the glass surfaces can be pushed behind each other on each level.
