Richard Lampert: SALTO by Tilla Goldberg

‘A piece of paper furniture for the office’ was the idea that Tilla Goldberg | Ippolito Fleitz Group developed together with furniture manufacturer Richard Lampert. Sketches, paper models and test mock-ups were used to create a product that is both a shelf and a storage object.

‘Salto’ can be placed on any table and provides a home for small everyday items – from smartphones and glasses of water to charging cables, which can run through a recess at the bottom of the bag. The versatile storage solution is simply placed on the edge of the table, no assembly is required. ‘I have known Tilla Goldberg for a long time and have already worked with her in previous professional positions. I particularly appreciate the lightness and interdisciplinary nature of her designs. I am therefore all the more pleased that with ‘Salto’ we are presenting Tilla's first, very successful product for Richard Lampert – and that we are now continuing our collaboration,’ says Michael Groth, Managing Director of Richard Lampert GmbH & Co. KG. Salto’ is made from Papyr®, a plant-based material made from cellulose, which is manufactured in Germany and is OEKO-TEX® and FSC® certified. Washable and robust, it can withstand all requirements as a table accessory and has a stylish design that can be used in a variety of ways with a practical storage surface such as a hanging bag. (am)
