Pedrali 2023: FRANK

With "Frank" for Pedrali, Robin Rizzini has created a table that impresses from every angle and whose sculptural form can be customised in numerous ways.

With the "Frank" table for Pedrali, Robin Rizzini explores the possibilities of aluminium as a material: Two slightly inwardly curved bases support the rectangular top, which is available in three dimensions as well as in glass and lacquered MDF. For the aluminium version, an anti-fingerprint finish ensures perfect performance at all times. Held by a sturdy steel beam directly under the top, the dynamic shape of the legs narrows towards the bottom: "For 'Frank', we designed a die-cast aluminium base that starts directly under the top and becomes almost straight towards the floor. The idea was to create the impression of a very stable table, despite its slender profiles," says Robin Rizzini. By combining straight and curved lines, the designer has created a table for Pedrali whose perception changes depending on the viewing angle. The sail-shaped bases give the furniture an elegant curve that can be integrated into any context. And for those who love to make a statement, Robin Rizzini has created a striking version in glossy red MDF. (am)
