A company's office space also serves as a three-dimensional calling card in times of hybrid work – yet it also has to fulfil a wide range of demands. The internationally active planning and consulting company CSMM specialises in office architecture and working environment design and has implemented a showcase project for its new location in Düsseldorf: 300 square metres of space in an old harbour building has been divided into flexible sections that offer space for both collaborative exchange and individual tasks. The "Silky Seal" floor covering from Object Carpet, a fitted RUGX carpet that enhances a good 90 square metres with a particularly high level of walking comfort, plays a key role in this. Interior designer Ira Roters selected the shades "True Burgundy", "Slate", "Greige", "Sunset" and "Dusty silver" from the 29 possible colours, which draw attention to themselves with subtle gloss effects, deep colours and long fringes in some cases. Thanks to the floor coverings from Object Carpet, the spacious, industrial-style room also has a modern and cosy feel – ideal conditions for CSMM's creative work.
The robust "Silky Seal" floor coverings significantly optimise the acoustics of the location with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, both in the open areas and in the screened rooms. CSMM's interdisciplinary approach is thus ideally reflected in Object Carpet's products and demonstrates the extent to which many intensive accents can be harmoniously combined. For flooring expert Object Carpet, which has been providing quality in the contract sector since 1972, the ecological footprint is also crucial – the aim is to offer only circular products by the end of 2025.
