Visual flow states
Murals – wall paintings – are widely regarded as being the supreme discipline in urban art on building facades. Mosa is now bringing this art form to interiors through tiles. With its “Murals Fuse” ceramic tile series the Dutch manufacturer has managed to create a flowing effect that produces the illusion of movement by subtly varying the gradation of soft colors. Eight colors and three tile sizes create a broad spectrum of possibilities for individual combinations. Architectural surfaces are thus furnished with a dynamism that varies in expressiveness depending on the color scheme used. The Pattern Generator – a free tool supplied by Mosa that accompanies the creative process from design to completion with the aid of a product database, installation instructions and an order option – helps customers create unique tile patterns.
Mosa has a long-standing tradition of producing tiles: The company has been manufacturing ceramics since 1883. This huge wealth of experience and a sense for sustainable products pays off: Mosa received the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) silver certificate for almost its entire tile collection including Murals Fuse as the first ceramic tile manufacturer world-wide.
