Design and function: with "Icon" Mara has developed a new collection of seating suitable for various uses such as living, hospitality or office.

With "Icon" by Marcello Ziliani, Mara presents a new seating collection that perfectly complements the portfolio of the Italian furniture manufacturer. The armchairs are suitable for different areas of application such as restaurants, offices or the own home. In terms of design and function, "Icon" impresses with its clean lines and soft upholstery made of molded foam, which makes it comfortable to sit on. The seat and backrest have been arranged separately to ensure optimal ergonomics, especially in the version with synchro mechanism.Between the two elements there is a thin slot that gives "Icon" a delicate and reduced aesthetic. During the design process, Marcello Ziliani and the Mara research team took care to conceal the chair's mechanics in order to consistently achieve its minimalist appearance. "Icon" is manufactured directly at Mara’s production site, using materials from local suppliers. Thanks to its removable upholstery, "Icon" can adapt to different circumstances also offering design sustainability.
