Lodes 2025: MAP

Lodes is presenting the new ‘MAP’ ceiling and wall lighting system from Geckeler Michels at Euroluce. Modular in design, the seamless structure of fabric tape and light points offers the option of choosing a customised configuration and changing it flexibly.

For the power supply, the fabric tape runs inside the housing of each module, which conducts the energy through the system beginning with the start module without revealing the source. The tape can be up to eight metres long and five centimetres wide. Depending on the type, different numbers of light points can be connected, for example four light points in the TRIAC version and up to seven light points in the DALI version. The dynamic design can also be extended as required.

Each ‘MAP’ light point is 63 millimetres high and has a diameter of 130 millimetres – different models of the PMMA lens can be selected, depending on whether focussed light or diffuse effects are required. A Honeycomp filter for reducing glare is available as well. In addition, the colour temperature of the lighting can be changed. Thanks to the three colour versions in matte black, matte champagne and natural brown, the lighting system is adaptable to the respective interior design. ‘'MAP' was primarily developed in response to the need for a decorative track that offers lighting designers unprecedented design freedom. Whether for residential or contract projects, 'MAP' offers a customised solution that allows designers to be creative. They can design the configuration that best suits their needs and customise the space with 'MAP's' unique graphic design,’ says Massimiliano Tosetto, Managing Director of Lodes. (am)
