Ligne Roset 2023: HASHIRA

"Hashira", Japanese for "column", is the name Alain Gilles gave to the table he designed for Ligne Roset. A direct reference can be found when looking at the four conical legs made of wood veneer, which support the rounded table top made of marble or solid wood.

Although made of solid materials, "Hashira" does not look massive, because designer Alain Gilles knows the effect of cleverly placed contrasts: the rounded edges of the tabletop and the narrow table legs that taper upwards give "Hashira" an exceptionally gentle character and a high recognition value. In addition, "Hashira" is available in different versions: made entirely of one wood or combined from two types of wood, as a version with a top made of American walnut and legs made of black ash or refined with a table top made of white marble. With possible dimensions of 250 x 110 x 75 centimetres as well as 300 x 218 x 75 centimetres, "Hashira" by Alain Gilles for Ligne Roset offers plenty of space for many guests, for meetings with colleagues or for solo work.
