Kinnarps: BEasy by Stefan Broselius and Ruud Ekstrand
Stefan Broselius and Ruud Ekstrand have reimagined the wing chair for Skandiform, giving it a great deal of dynamic lightness: The lines of “BEasy,” which was recently presented at Orgatec 2024 in Cologne, are reminiscent of well-known models, but its forms are less heavy or static. With a combination of wood, textile upholstery and a metal frame, the Swedish designers have created a contemporary look that can be used in any commercial or office space as a wing chair or easy chair. With plenty of comfort and soft curves, it visually invites you to take a seat. Thanks to the high back of “BEasy”, the seated person is slightly shielded – particularly ideal for “open spaces” concepts.
The wide range of colors is also appealing: the frame, shell and upholstery can be individually designed and, for example, chosen in monochrome from the Skandiform color collection. This makes it possible to create both calm and stimulating atmospheres without sacrificing comfort. This is in line with the Kinnarps brand, which has stood for modern design, functionality and Scandinavian craftsmanship since the 1960s. (eb)
