Railing for the new!
“I’m begging of you please don’t take my man,” Dolly Parton sings to “Jolene,” a fictional rival who wants to steal her husband. Now it seems the solution to this dilemma has been found: With “Joline” (even if it is spelt with an i) Girsberger presents a simple upholstered sofa that serves as a three- or four-seater for relaxing or sharing a meal. What better place to resolve a conflict than over good food and entertaining conversation?
Mathias Seiler, responsible for Design and Marketing at Girsberger, designed the sofa such that, with a seating height of 47 cm, it fits almost any table. “Joline” harmonizes particularly well with the table “Yoho” by Girsberger – both feature the same curved leg elements consisting of a metal strip, available in anthracite coating, nickel plated or chromed. As with all beauty – and that includes “Joline” of course – an attractive back is called for; in this case it is a slender wooden rail that supports the backrest upholstery. (mm)
