"Today, the imm cologne's Advisory Board unanimously voted in favor of the imm Spring Edition concept proposed by Koelnmesse for June 2023. We would like to thank the Advisory Board and especially the German industry, retailers and purchasing associations for their support. This ensures that imm cologne can take place again after a two-year break. The industry has spoken out in favor of a strong furnishing show in Germany, the strongest market in Europe in terms of sales," says Gerald Böse, Chief Executive Officer of Koelnmesse.
"imm Spring Edition" will thus take place from June 4 to 7, 2023, and will focus on trade visitors. End consumers would be given the opportunity to visit the fair by invitation. In addition, the theme of kitchens will be integrated into the imm Spring Edition for 2023. Likewise, it is planned to include the city as a location more strongly in the event program. "In this context, the Spring Edition stands as a synonym for new beginnings. The imm cologne wants to motivate along the way, show how it tries out new things and leaves well-trodden paths," explains Oliver Frese, Managing Director of Koelnmesse.
The special edition of imm cologne marks the first step in a realignment of Kölnmesse, the second is to take place in summer 2023, when the future dates of imm cologne and Living Kitchen will be determined. (am)
