Exclusively laced
The gently curved frame of "Pan Black" made of powder-coated stainless steel provides the basis for a matt black plastic fibre, which, stretched in dynamic lines, ensures continuous comfort. Depending on requirements, the seat can also be fitted with a matching cushion in black. Christian Hoisl relies on warm, shiny accents for the eyelets and feet: they shine in copper colours and thus create an industrial chic that attracts attention. "With 'Pan', the combination of materials is particularly attractive. On the one hand, the indestructible stainless steel as a static structure, and on the other, the fine, body-hugging braided structure. The way it is laced is reminiscent of a shoe, where the fibre is guided through an eyelet in the profile," says Hoisl. As usual, Garpa also focuses on durability and quality in the limited edition "Pan Black": all materials used are light and weather resistant. "Pan Black" by Garpa thus offers a collector's item with lasting value. The designer has also thought of a matching table: "Black" is the name of the side table, which with its filigree shape and copper-look legs turns the elements into an ensemble. (am)
