Water and values
"Fantini has a wonderful history that begins in 1946. It is the story of two brothers, my father and my uncle. Two people who loved to try new things, develop new things and were not afraid of a challenge. Even today, 70 years later, experimentation is at the heart of our creativity," says Daniela Fantini. She is the second generation to continue the line of the Italian manufacturer, which specialises in the development of high-quality bathroom and kitchen fittings. Water and respect for the environment flow in the DNA of the company, which has always been based on the picturesque Lake Orta in Piedmont. Guests of the 5-star boutique hotel "Casa Fantini", which is located in Pella directly next to the company headquarters, can experience the quality and aesthetics of the fittings live.
From here, Fantini operates internationally, working with renowned designers on forward-looking concepts, such as Naoto Fukasawa, Piero Lissoni, Rodolfo Dordoni or Michael Anastassiades. Fantini's design success began with the colourful "I Balocchi" series of fittings by Davide Mercatali and Paolo Pedrizzetti, which was presented for the first time in 1978 and took the market by storm. To this day, Fantini donates part of the proceeds from the sale of this classic to sustainable projects such as the construction of water pipes and schools in Africa – showing social commitment, another important point in Fantini's self-image.
