DESALTO
Desalto's exhibition space at the Salone del Mobile will be structured with airy partitions reminiscent of industrial grids and made of raw metal or metal painted with Blue Desalto: The booth not only presents individual collections, but also conveys the brand identity of the company, which was founded in 1990 by the Orsenigo brothers, the descendants of a generation of metal craftsmen.
In the freely separated areas of the exhibition stand, visitors can discover the numerous new Desalto pieces of furniture, such as "Sum" by Francesco Rota, a modular system whose upholstered elements can be combined from a basic module to create any desired seating landscape. The further developments of the ‘Unlimited’ and ‘Clip’ furniture by Francesco Rota are also on display. At the same time, the ‘Zinco’ table and bookcase by Luca Pevere provide suitable storage space. Inspired by industrial structures, the visible construction of the components with screws and bolts, steel tubes and folded sheet metal becomes a design element in the ‘Zinco’ collection. Desalto's collections are created to be sustainable – as all of them can be dismantled into their individual parts, which means they are easy to transport and to assemble.
