Dedon 2022: MBRACE CLUB CHAIR
The "MBRACE" collection by Dedon is a classic: in 2016, Sebastian Herkner designed the lounge and dining furniture, for which seating surfaces made of Dedon fibres were combined with frames made of solid teak for the first time. In the formal language, Herkner combines a Scandinavian aesthetic with cosmopolitan elements - and has thus found an ideal middle ground of restrained and expressive design. With the "MBRACE Club Chair", he is now expanding his successful collection together with Dedon to include a compact club chair. With an open frame, a narrow backrest and a slim seat, this chair offers extra dynamism and flexibility: "It is a lightweight chair that is also easy to move around and store. Perfect for spontaneous meetings," says Herkner. At the same time, Dedon also leaves room for individual wishes with a variety of possible finishes - for the frame, for example, you can choose between tapered legs in teak and aluminium. In addition, neutral as well as eye-catching colour combinations are available for the semi-transparent wicker pattern, such as the new colour "seville", which adds a strong orange to the ensemble. The recyclable Dedon fibre is extremely resistant to cold, heat, salty and chlorinated water as well as ultraviolet radiation. Optionally, the "MBRACE Club Chair" can be equipped with cushions and pillows. (am)
