Dedon 2022: ROII
"The basic idea of my design was to reinterpret the classic wicker furniture by Dedon," says Benjamin Baum. For the "ROII" collection, the designer focuses on craftsmanship and the power of contrast. The frames of the chairs, armchairs, bar stools and sun loungers are woven with the Dedon fibre "Touch" in a herringbone pattern and offer a feel like supple leather. In dark anthracite and with clear lines, the frame is an ideal stage for the seat and backrest, because they are real eye-catchers: the new "Tobacco" fibre creates a strikingly lively look in the alternation of light and dark fibres, which puts the focus on the traditional craftsmanship of fully woven furniture from Dedon. Air-permeable and stable, these are pleasantly comfortable even in high summer temperatures. Thanks to the light weight, the outdoor furniture of the "ROII" collection is also very easy to move in position. (am)
