What developments are currently decisive in the construction industry? And how can all parties involved contribute to a sustainable building culture? The third climate festival for the construction industry of the future by BauNetz and Heinze invites you to Berlin on November 21 and 22, 2024.
11/6/2024

At the “STATION” in the Kreuzberg district, inspiring talks will determine where the real CO2 drivers in the construction industry are and how construction methods should be adapted to be future-proof in times of climate change. Similarly, workshops on DGNB certification provide insights into which criteria are crucial for the sustainable quality of a building, and the five BDB sustainability building blocks vividly demonstrate how holistic construction can be achieved from the outset.

A total of 120 renowned speakers from the construction industry will be featured in the program, including architects Anna Heringer, Carlo Ratti and Amandus Samsøe Sattler, President of the German Sustainable Building Council DGNB e.V., climate activist Louisa Schneider and meteorologist Karsten Schwanke. 60 dialogue formats and three stages offer numerous opportunities to explore new perspectives and network.

The award ceremony of the Heinze ArchitekturAWARD on November 21, 2024 promises to be just as exciting: the jury will select a winning project and three young talent prizes for student work from almost 300 competition entries. The search is on for trend-setting buildings that find innovative solutions to the challenges of the present – be it with a view to the responsible use of resources or the environmentally conscious development of new construction methods.
