A classic in new robes

Carl Hansen & Søn have upholstered the Shell Chair CH07 designed back in 1963 by Hans J. Wegner with silk coverings in gemstone colors to lend it a new and elegant flair. The special edition is available thru December 31, 2017. A total of 16 different silks from Jim Thompson Fabrics supplement the chair’s Scandinavian formal vocabulary, by introducing four different color themes: Red Coral, Blue Sapphire, Golden Citrine and Green Jade. Carl Hansen & Søn were inspired here by the intensive colors of gemstones. Together with a selection of different patterns and textures, you can now in this way create your own individual Shell Chair.
