Ink with wool
The new colour palette for "Sumi" by Camira is inspired by nature's ink box: from eucalyptus green and indigo blue to saffron yellow and madder red, they offer a soft aesthetic reminiscent of plants and minerals. The lightweight, purist fabric made of worsted yarn with a mélange surface also offers a wide range of uses in design thanks to the extended colour palette: be it for upholstery, vertical surfaces, curtains, drapery or acoustic panels. Due to the very high wool content of 90 percent, it is also very soft to the touch. Like all other Camira fabrics, "Sumi" is manufactured in the company’s home county, Yorkshire in England. With Camira's sustainable approach, the new colour range of "Sumi" carries the EU Ecolabel in addition to the SCS Indoor Advantage Gold environmental certification, thus meeting the highest standards.
