"Craggan Flax" is the name of the new one. A highly textured fabric that takes over the baton from the classic "Craggan". Whereas the former was made entirely of wool, Camira is now using a fibre blend of wool and flax for the new development. "We have worked hard to ensure Craggan Flax is perfectly suited to modern commercial and residential interiors," says Lynn Kingdon, Head of Creative at Camira. "Craggan Flax thus adds a sustainable material in a coarse weave, with a robust character that can withstand heavier use in public areas. Moreover, thanks to the material's naturally durable properties, no chemical post-treatment of the fabric is necessary to certify it according to the British test standard for fire behaviour in public areas. Another plus of the collection addition is the extended colour palette, which complements the neutral shades with a beautiful selection of bright tones. (am)
