Brunner 2021: NATE COLLECTION
In the "nate collection" from Brunner, nature and technology come together in an innovative way. The wooden furniture collection developed by Munich designer Steffen Kehrle in collaboration with managing director Dr. Marc Brunner, consisting of the "nate" and "nate s" series, impresses with its clever design and sustainable production with short distances within Germany and the use of solid beech and oak wood from domestic, PEFC-certified forestry. "nate" chairs do not require gluing, which is due to a frame made of 100 percent recycled plastic. It ensures that the furniture can be separated by type and fully recycled at the end of its life cycle. "nate s" convinces with its slim industrial design, aesthetic appeal and pleasant comfort. The filigree tubular steel version made of sturdy round steel tubing, to which the organically shaped wooden surfaces made of wafer-thin molded wood are attached, confidently interprets the original design of the collection. The idea of developing a modern wooden chair has resulted in an extensive product family. Both series consist of lightweight, stackable, hygienic stacking chairs as well as tables, benches, barstools and stools. For this, a diverse selection of fabrics and leathers with more than 900 colors is available, helping to give rooms a variety of looks. (ar)
