Bonaldo 2024: FLATIRON
As the name suggests, the design by Mauro Lipparini alludes to the famous New York skyscraper, the Flat Iron Building. Two side panels available in brushed bronze or brushed lead are asymmetrically embedded in an organically curved solid wood panel made of either canaletto walnut or coal oak. The sculptural form of the design is accentuated by the contrasting material that fulfils a practical as well as an aesthetic function in the continuation of the base: a recess there acts as a cable hole, which makes it possible to keep the table top tidy. "Flatiron" is available in two material versions and two sizes and can be perfectly complemented by other pieces from the "Executive Space" line, such as "Newton" and "Newton Low" armchairs or "Moneypenny" storage furniture. With these new items, Bonaldo emphasises its commitment to furniture that can be used to create efficient yet elegant working and living environments. (eb)
