Creating Dialogs

In the shape of “B/Style”, Bonaldo has created a powerful range with coordinated collections that offer a variety of possible designs depending on how they are interpreted.

The notion of “design free of space” is an apt description of “B/Style” by Bonaldo: An ensemble that always creates a meaningful whole – regardless of which elements are combined. Conceived by different designers, the furniture items in the collection boast a variety of shapes, materials, and styles. The result is a harmonic melody in which each item strikes a different note, and which gives rise to scenarios that are always coherent.

With “B/Style”, Bonaldo also demonstrates what marvelous advances the company has made: Founded back in 1936 by Giovanni Vittorio Bonaldo, initially the Venetian family-run firm specialized in manufacturing metal products and the following years launched a number of innovative ideas such as the folding slatted bedframe. Today, the Bonaldo range includes furniture, as tables, chairs, sofas and beds, luminaires and other interior design products that are made from a wide range of materials – from wood and metal, glass and marble, concrete and clay, to leather and fabrics.

One perfect example of a member of the “B/Style” family is “Mellow”, a table from the hand of Bartoli Design, solid and yet dynamic thanks to its rounded shapes and gentle curves. The cast polyurethane elements of the central base support the tabletop that can be fashioned from wood veneer or solid wood, crystal, ceramic, or marble. “Mellow” is also available in a four-meter-long version for those special occasions. In the "Mellow ST" version, the top turns outwards, giving the table an exciting new perspective. It is a typical feature of “B/Style” that it allows this great freedom to customize the product without altering the impressive essence of the design. Or as Bonaldo puts it, “B/Style” is intended as “something more than design”, a holistic interior design that through its appearance engages in a dialog – with itself but also with the people who use it to furnish their desired environment. In short: the perfect choice for an inspiring interplay of object and surroundings.
