The way to the dream bathroom
Bette combines manufactory work with high-tech production: in the process, the products can be easily customized according to customer wishes, with the company offering over 600 different models for bathtubs, showers and washbasins with a wide range of possible surface colors. To make planning even easier, Bette has now also developed a new online product configurator: This allows craftsmen, bathroom consultants and end customers to put together a product individually, combine it with matching accessories and view it from all sides via 3D view in the desired color.
"The idea was to develop a tool with which individual bathroom elements can be configured easily, safely and quickly – without a lot of scrolling and without a lot of text. Bathroom planners, installers and end customers can quickly find the perfect product for the bathroom thanks to the intuitive controls. And for Bette, it is another important building block in the digitalization of our sales," says Sven Rensinghoff, Head of Marketing & Product Management, about the concept of the new online product configurator. Users can thus choose from a wide variety of bath elements, dimensions, colors and equipment options and plan their product individually. The configurator automatically calculates whether the selected features and accessories actually fit together and only provides the specifically matching options. In this way, users find out which dimensions are possible, whether a Bette frame can be selected to go with it, which sealing and installation systems fit the product, which colors are offered and which accessories can be combined. In addition, for multi-part products such as the "BetteLux Shape bathtub", the color of the tub and frame can be determined individually.
After completing the configuration process, users receive a summary for the individually configured product with the final item number as well as all equipment features and selected accessories. The summary can then be downloaded as a PDF and saved locally. Alternatively, users can have the planning result sent to them by e-mail as a link with an individual code in order to share it with the respective dealers and planners. In addition, the search option is linked directly below the summary. The online product configurator also gives bathroom planners and consultants the opportunity to individualize the desired bathroom element on the screen and discuss the result directly with the customer. In addition, craftsmen can view possible product combinations directly and check their feasibility. For example, an integrated planning aid ensures that the appropriate fittings and installation systems are automatically preselected when the height of the finished floor is entered. In this way, the new online product configurator complements Bette's various catalogs and websites and thus extends the possibility of putting together one's own dream bathroom.
