A fast stride

Warsaw-based CCC is the largest shoe manufacturer in Europe – and also the fastest growing one. The successful stock corporation, which operates almost 800 stores in over a dozen European countries, has its new headquarters in the “Metropolitan,” a state-of-the-art office building in the heart of the Polish capital – the brainchild of London-based architecture studio Foster + Partners. “The inauguration of our new office was an important step for us, both in terms of business and our image,” notes CEO Dariusz Milek. The fit-out of the new premises is intended to reflect the dynamic character of the company. For this reason, CCC chose Austrian office furniture maker Bene as its partner in designing the new head office. 

The office space, which measures over 2,000 square meters, was organized as an open-plan office. Particular attention was given to creating the ideal workplace for every staff member and every form of activity, while at the same time encouraging creativity and dynamism. Consequently, open settings for project and team work were created and acoustically shielded areas are available for confidential conversations and telephone calls. There are a number of temporary workstations, naturally with all the necessary connections and equipment, for those staff members who primarily work outside the headquarters. Modern shapes and fresh colors make a statement in the airy interiors, while plenty of wood gives rise to a feeling of coziness – a forward-looking head office for a future-oriented company.
