Arper 2024: KATA CHAIR

The "Kata" family, which Altherr Désile Park designed for Arper in 2021, is being expanded this year. For the "Kata Chair", the design trio has applied the proven design language to a chair that can be placed at the dining, conference or work table.

Natural, comfortable, sustainable: These three keywords also characterise the "Kata Chair", which Arper is now presenting. In keeping with the "Kata" family, this chair celebrates the natural beauty of wood. The archetypal design by Altherr Désile Park appears generous and light at the same time and is made for everyday use. "Kata Chair" is optionally available with a wooden shell, as well as partially or fully upholstered. The combination of a solid wood frame and the finely structured shell is available with or without armrests and in various colours: natural, black or rusty oak. Optional seat cushions offer additional comfort. The textiles are finished with decorative stitching in a choice of contrasting or tone-on-tone colours. These details and the high-quality processing of the natural material make the chair a sustainable and versatile furnishing object. (eb)
