Vipp: Vipp Swivel
Designed for the interior of the "Vipp Cold Hawaii", the latest version of the Vipp swivel chair has a fabric cover made of Belgian linen and wool in sand tones.
The sandy dunes in Denmark's largest national park, Thy, are dotted with old fishermen's cottages. Commissioned by Vipp, local architects Hahn Lavsen and interior designer Julie Cloos Mølsgaard recently transformed one of these cottages into the latest guest house in Vipp's portfolio of one-room wonders.
The new Vipp swivel chair consists of an industrially polished frame with slim armrests and a four-legged swivel base with either glides or castors. The fabric is a blend of linen, wool and polyamide, specially developed to achieve a perfect combination of natural fibres and high durability.
The Vipp swivel chair with dark sand fabric will be available from mid-April 2024.
