USM: USM Haller Soft Panel

For the 60th anniversary of the iconic USM Haller modular furniture system, USM is bringing a breath of fresh air to the world of modular design: the USM Haller Soft Panel gives the classic structure a new, textile dimension. The innovation was presented as part of the Milan Design Week 2025 with the installation ‘Connected by Our Dreams’ - a staging that invites playful exploration.

The Soft Panels combine design, functionality and sustainability in a unique way: made from recycled synthetic fibres (40% Seaqual® marine plastic), they are lightweight and durable, while also improving room acoustics. Thanks to magnetic mounting, they can be attached, moved or exchanged in no time at all, without any tools.

Available in ten colours, three formats and three patterns, the panels open up a world of individual design possibilities. Whether it's a bold colour accent or a soft texture, every combination playfully changes the look and function of the furniture.

USM Haller Soft Panels will be available in three formats (750 x 350 mm, 500 x 350 mm and 350 x 350 mm) and ten colours from September 2025. They were developed in collaboration with French designer Marc Venot and the American design studio JOBA, led by Kevin Jones, which was also responsible for the ‘Connected by Our Dreams’ installation.
