Gaggenau: The Essential Induction

The Essential Induction is stripped down to the essentials: cooking directly on the worktop. A subtle LED dot and the iconic Gaggenau control knob are the only visible elements. The LED dot serves not only as an eye-catcher but also intuitively guides to the center of action - the induction module. It indicates where cookware can be placed and signals residual heat with its gentle glow. Once the light fades, the surface transforms back into an elegant worktop. This innovative induction solution opens up new possibilities in the kitchen space: a place not just for cooking and preparing, but also for serving, dining, working, and socializing.

For efficient cooking, Gaggenau has developed a removable magnetic surface protector for existing induction cookware. This protector dampens the noise created by the movement of pots and pans on the stone surface while ensuring good conductivity of the induction modules for optimal cooking performance. Additionally, the Essential Induction offers Gaggenau's trademark high performance with its warming and boost functions. The control knob, a recognizable feature of Gaggenau and a illuminated design highlight, is available in either stainless steel or black. The worktop is perfectly matched to the elegant design, exclusively combined with Dekton countertops available in over 60 designs and colors. These stain-resistant and scratch-resistant surfaces seamlessly blend into any kitchen design, marrying functionality with aesthetics.

The Essential Induction has been on display at the Gaggenau Showroom in Munich since January and will be available for purchase in retail stores starting from summer 2024.
