ligne roset: Noka by Sebastian Herkner
Inspired by Japanese country houses, the new 'Noka' modular sofa creates a sense of comfort, brings people together and opens up new perspectives.
The new modular sofa 'Noka' by Sebastian Herkner combines the concepts of 'anchor' and 'bridge' by creating a sense of comfort, connecting people and opening up new perspectives.
The name 'Noka' is inspired by Japanese country houses, where the floors are covered with tatami mats, creating a link between the heart of the house and the vast outdoors.
For the designer, 'Noka' symbolises both stability and openness. It creates a welcoming atmosphere and encourages connections between people. Like a building on stilts, it stands firm yet offers a new perspective, creating the desired 'floating space'.
