COR: Kagu by Jehs + Laub
Reduced in material, precise in form, strong in expression.
For this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, seating specialist COR makes a bold design statement with its new wooden chair Kagu, created by the design duo Jehs+Laub. From April 7–13, it will be presented in vibrant style at the atmospheric COR Apartment in Brera.
After two years of development, Kagu impresses with its sculptural presence and refined construction. Slender legs – available in oiled ash or oak – support a seemingly floating, upholstered seat shell with responsive comfort. The legs, flowing organically into the armrests, and a central wooden cross-brace give the chair both stability and lightness.
As a single piece or as part of a larger ensemble, Kagu adapts effortlessly to a variety of living and working environments. Its aesthetic is timeless, understated yet full of character - an enduring piece with presence.
