Opinion Ciatti: Hercle and Herclino by Lapo Ciatti

Hercle and Herclino, the collection of tables and coffee tables designed by Lapo Ciatti for the Salone del Mobile 2024, was created with the intention of combining, in an object of everyday use, the timeless charm of ancient Greece with avant-garde materials, the result of Opinion Ciatti’s attention to environmental issues.

An example of imperishable beauty, Hercle is also an expression of the research and innovation that characterise the work of the Ciatti household. In fact, the Hercle tables and
Herclino coffee tables that make up the collection express their uniqueness thanks to Corkcrete, a special ecological hand-applied finish resulting from the combination of cork
and natural water-based compounds. Totally recyclable, Corkcrete is perfect for both indoor and outdoor spaces, guaranteeing not only high resistance to atmospheric agents
but also great comfort thanks to its thermoregulating properties. The result is a surface that is never too hot or too cold, providing extraordinary tactile sensations. It’s available
in three different colours: beige, grey or dove grey.

Hercle and Herclino can also be covered in sumptuous gold leaf (indoor use). In addition, the Hercle table is also available in a white lacquered version, suitable for both indoor
and outdoor use.

Square, round, rectangular or oval, the Hercle tables adapt to every need for space or cosiness, while the Herclino coffee tables with their three sizes open up to different uses:
as a pocket emptier at the entrance, as a shelf in the living room or garden, or as a convenient support for plants or lamps, indoors or outdoors.
