Paola Lenti: Helico & Primula by Nicolò Morales

Red or classic clay, as well as clay blends with alumina and quartz, take on soft, organic shapes that evoke fascinating sea creatures and plants through varying proportions and the extrusion process typically used for bricks. Nicolò Morales' works for Paola Lenti are handcrafted art pieces that combine a personal interpretation of traditional Caltagirone ceramics with original colour experiments.

In the Helico and Primula models, the colour is applied by hand and intentionally left in a liquid state. This approach preserves the intensity of the colours while allowing the material to shine through, giving each piece a vibrant and glossy appearance.

The side tables have bases in extruded majolica and round tops in transparent fused glass.
